Monday is an awful way to spend 1/7 of your life.
I hear people express the idea that Trump is some sort of fascist dictator who will gain absolute power and be another Hitler. Then, the 9th Circuit Court did their usual leftwing hijinks, and we are reminded again of that thing known as "separation of powers." The Constitution still works even though it is maligned and abused.
It is common sense to not want criminals coming to America. Yet, the Left has to make it about racism and Islamophobia. This country will tolerate rape and murder over being politically incorrect. Gentle Reader, I want that to sink in. Would you let your family members and friends be raped and murdered for fear of offending someone? This country has lost its mind.
Meanwhile, word has it that Obama is not going to do the fade out like previous presidents. He intends to remain in DC and agitate. I suggest they look into Obama's activities while president and see about locking him up in prison. I think forgery of a birth certificate might be a good place to start.
These two tweets tell the Francis story for the week:
Strong & persistent rumours from Rome that the 4 cardinals have privately corrected the Pope - if he doesn't respond, they'll go public— Nick Donnelly (@ProtectthePope) February 11, 2017
These are just rumors, but they will make for an interesting week ahead. Also hearing persistent rumours that Card. Muller has resigned from CDF & Card. Burke has been cancelling engagements. No confirmation— Nick Donnelly (@ProtectthePope) February 11, 2017
3. SMARTPHONE RANT OF THE WEEK
I had a nightmare that I had to buy a new phone, so I went to the phone place where I got swindled into buying a smartphone. When I opened the box, the smartphone fell out and shattered the screen. Desperate, I raced back to the phone place to see if I could get a flip phone. Then, I woke up. I am glad that it was just a dream.
A friend of mine at work has a Samsung smartphone that has taken more spills on metal and concrete and survived without a scratch. Then, he dropped it on a carpeted floor and cracked the screen. How awesome is that?
Smartphones are too delicate for the real world. The cheapest flip phone has more durability than any flagship smartphone.

5. TAKEN FROM A COMBOX
I love generation x kids, they rent out my condos and their parents pay me the rent in time like clock work.
6. QUOTABLE QUOTES
Men are generally the carpenters of their own crosses.
ST. PHILIP NERI
I don’t understand how you can call yourself a Christian and lead such an idle, useless life. Have you forgotten Christ’s life of toil?
ST. JOSEMARIA ESCRIVA
People who pride themselves on their "complexity" and deride others for being "simplistic" should realize that the truth is often not very complicated. What gets complex is evading the truth.
7. ODDS AND ENDS
--I suspect Apple pulled a trick from Scientology and bought a lot of its own iPhone 7s to boost sales figures. Whistleblower needed on this one.
--The best rumored feature of the new iPhone 8 is the thousand dollar price tag. Imagine the pain in your gut when that baby cracks its screen.
--When you resort to eating dogs, anteaters, and flamingos; it is time for an antisocialist revolution. Make Venezuela Great Again.
--I support a hard Brexit. It should have happened yesterday.
